In this episode of The Chat with Claire Fordham podcast, Claire interviews creative visionary Kathy Eldon about the non-profit Creative Visions that she set up to honor her photo journalist son, Dan Eldon, who was killed while covering a story for Reuters in Somalia in 1993.
Rather than be embittered, Kathy forgave her son’s killers and established creative visions in 1998 with her daughter, Amy, to support other creative activists like Dan to use their creative spark for good.
This episode is just totally inspiring. Their story has been made into a feature film, The Journey is the Destination.
