In this episode of The Chat with Claire Fordham podcast, Claire interviews Clinical Psychologist & Librettist Dr. Terry Marks-Tarlow.

Terry has a thriving therapy practice in LA, is an acclaimed author, artist, dancer and yogi who accepted the challenge to write the book for a mini opera, Oroborium, comfortably slipping into the shoes of the great Welsh poet Dylan Thomas who drank himself to death on his way to California to work with the great composer Igor Stravinsky before they could properly start the project.

Sixty years on, the prestigious Juilliard School of Music commissioned composer Jonathan Dawe to finish the opera and he invited Terry to write the libretto as they’d successfully worked on another opera together.

Terry talks about that incredible journey that culminated in a performance in New York’s Lincoln Center and gives advice on how to be emotionally and physically fit.
